It’ll reset whenever I leave and it always pisses me off. If I need to do something or if I’m just tired I can pick it back up later. This is one of the reasons I really liked the EA version. Next, you should have an option to save and pick it up later. They’re super slippery and I constantly lose control of the bricks.

Sure, it’s fine, but there’s multiple ways it could be improved. This one will never live up to the EA version. Tetris is one of my all time favorite games and this one retains everything that made Tetris amazing in the first place. A fantastic thing that they added were local and global leaderboards. There is Tetris Royale which is kind of fun and a three minute mode for when you are in a rush. There is the classic marathon Version that finally got level select. It is kind of scummy that the premium pass needs renewed and the thirty second unskippable ads before every game are unpleasant, but understandable. The micro-transactions are still there but they aren’t going to ruin your experience. If you grew up with Tetris on a Game Boy or DS like me they feel marvelous and are in a similar configuration, but their cramped size hurt my thumbs after a while. There is the option for buttons which work fine, but are small and slightly awkward. Swipe controls will never be perfect for Tetris but these feel fantastic most of the time. EA Tetris was crowded and kind of junky but all in all, it was good enough. If you want that old experience, then simply turn on airplane mode. Then they added a bunch of stuff in the menus and I didn’t touch it for a while but now it is complete. Okay so when the app first came out it was amazing. The world’s favorite block puzzle game is now a game for everyone to play together, anywhere.
